Parish Priest - Fr. Adrian Wiltshire

Most Holy Trinity - Fr Adrian Wiltshire

Fr. Adrian Wiltshire, parish priest of Most Holy Trinity, Ledbury, answered a late call to the priesthood, and was ordained to the sacred priesthood on 25 January 2007.

Prior to that, and despite first being drawn to the priesthood as a music student in London in the late 1960's, he pursued a career first as a music teacher, and later as a manager with a wine company for ten years.   In Father Wiltshire's own words “My qualifications are in music, wine, and theology”.

Father Adrian previously served as parish priest of Cwmbrân for two and a half years.

Prayer for all our priests

Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests.   Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.   Help our priests to be strong in their vocation:  set their souls on fire with love for Your people;  grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus;  inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom;  grant them the words they need to spread the Gospel;  allow them to experience joy in their ministry;  and help them to become instruments of Your divine grace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ Your Son, Our Lord, Who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.

Amen.
