Catholic Friends outing 23rd February
13 friends visited Birlingham near Pershore where the churchyard of St James is a mass of snowdrops and crocuses with primroses and cyclamen. A wonderful sight even in the blustery winds.
This was followed by a leisurely "senior's lunch " at the Oak at Defford.
A talk on John Bradburne of Mutemwa
The Catholic Friends meeting on 26th May had a talk on John Bradburne given by Rev Ben Bradshaw and accompanied by John Bradburne's niece Celia.
We learnt about his work in Zimbabwe with the lepers and his commitment to the lepers.
See more on the website www.johnbradburne.com
There was a good range of booklets about his life and his poetry
